Developing standards

This year we are continuing to develop standards for electronic records around transfers of care and others. We are also working with clinical and professional leaders to promote the use of standards in the NHS and social care to improve safety, quality and effectiveness.

Clinical and professional leadership to implement standards for better care
This programme supports the effective adoption and uptake of PRSB standards by engaging clinical and professional leaders to actively promote and advocate their use in frontline services.

Transfers of Care
This work aims to drive better information sharing when patients are transferred between health and care providers. Details of the individual projects can be found below.
