Ablyss joins our community of IT system suppliers to be at the forefront of standards compliance

Ablyss, a software supplier dedicated to improving efficiency and quality of care in residential homes, it the latest organisation to join our Standards Partnership Scheme. Over the years, they have grown to become a trusted partner to care homes across the UK, with a focus on simplifying care management – now, their next step is to contribute to the development of best practice in data sharing, and so they reached out to the PRSB for support.

Innovation comes with adaptation – this is why Ablyss tell us it places a strong emphasis on health and care standards and improving interoperability between their system and other care-related platforms.

The PRSB’s work resonates with Ablyss’ commitment to create a system that supports comprehensive and coordinated care. Through this partnership, they hope to ensure that their product, Blyssful, remains at the forefront of compliance, and that they’re better equipped to support care providers in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

As a PRSB Partner, Ablyss can benefit from access to our extensive and well-established network of IT system suppliers, health and care providers, service users, as well as commissioners and policy makers. We are also looking forward to working with their marketing team on co-creating inspiring and insightful content on their journey with standards.

Ablyss is planning to work towards conformance with standards related to shared care records and care planning. To begin with, they would like to become conformant with the About Me Standard and the Personalised Care and Support Plan Standard.

Sally White, Founder and Director at Ablyss, said: “Standards and interoperability are critical to enabling seamless care delivery across different systems and organisations. By adhering to recognised standards, such as PRSB’s, we will also make it easier for care homes to integrate our solution into their existing workflows, enhancing overall efficiency and reducing the burden on caregivers.

“We are excited to have joined the PRSB’s Standards Partnership Scheme and are looking forward to starting our journey with standards conformance in the nearest future.”

Lorraine Foley, CEO, PRSB: “The growing digitisation of social care will only deliver benefits if it comes with high-quality, standardised data. This is why it’s important that system suppliers don’t lag behind and learn the importance of enhancing their solutions by becoming conformant with standards. I am pleased to welcome Ablyss as our new partner. Our team will be delighted to support them as they embark on their chapter with standards conformance.”
