MED e-care partners with PRSB to help make integrated care a reality
PRSB is glad to announce that MED e-care, a care technology company specialising in eMAR (electronic medication administration record system) and care planning solutions, has joined the PRSB Standards Partnership Scheme.
MED e-care is focused on integration with other care technologies, such as Nourish, Person Centred Software and Care Vision, who are also PRSB partners.
The team at MED e-care sees interoperability as imperative for the evolution of outstanding care. Their platform integrates with pharmacy providers and other care technology providers to ensure joined-up care, single entry of data and medication management. This is why they’ve decided to become a part of our Standards Partnership Scheme – they are dedicated to attaining interoperability for their eMAR system, simplifying the medication process, and improving resident safety across health and social care settings. Adopting our standards will help them achieve this.
Our Partner is looking to be assessed against the About Me Standard and Care Home View of Shared Care Record Standard.
Liz Price, Head of Operations at MED e-care, said: “We are excited to be partnering with the PRSB to achieve our common goal of sharing best practices, collaborating, and advancing interoperability to improve people’s experience of care.”
Lorraine Foley, CEO at the PRSB, commented: “Achieving integrated care requires a collaborative process, and we are glad that our partners work together to make it reality. It is fantastic to see MED e-care working towards interoperability and understanding the importance of conformance with PRSB standards in this. Our assessors will be on hand to support them in their journey towards standards adoption and conformance.”
