Carebeans enables the delivery of personalised care in care homes, domiciliary care and supported living businesses with their new standard conformance achievement
Social care providers using Carebeans’ system will now be able to provide more personalised and effective care to the people they support, as the supplier has achieved conformance against the PRSB’s Personalised Care and Support Plan Standard, becoming a Quality Partner.
Carebeans provides innovative digital care management software for the social care sector. With their priority to ensure that service users receive the best care possible, undertaking the PRSB’s conformance assessment for the standard was a natural step for them.
The Personalised Care and Support Plan Standard helps people to manage their own care, with the support of a wide range of services including primary care, hospitals, occupational therapy and social care. The standard helps citizens and health and care professionals get the right information when they need it, to personalise care, and improve the experience for the person, their carer and their families.
Carebeans is also an assured supplier on the Digital Social Care Records Assured Supplier List, which means they are represented on the buying catalogue for social care.
Speaking of the conformance process, Jeremy Hudson, Managing Director at Carebeans, said: “The team at the PRSB were very supportive throughout the whole conformance journey and their expertise and advice were invaluable.
“Our aim was to successfully meet the standard compliance deadline, requiring system suppliers to implement it in their systems – and we are glad to have achieved this ahead of the deadline, thanks to the collaborative approach from the PRSB.”
Lorraine Foley, CEO at the PRSB, said: “Congratulations to Carebeans for this excellent achievement. Personalised care can’t be delivered effectively without making sure that an individual’s information is recorded and shared with the teams involved in their care, and we are looking forward to hearing how Carebeans’ milestone will help make this reality in the domiciliary care, care home and supported living businesses using their solution.”
By January 2024, health and care providers will have to show full compliance with the Personalised Care and Support Plan Standard, and system suppliers will need to enable them to meet the deadline. If you haven’t already implemented the standard in your system, contact partners@theprsb.org to discuss how we can support you in doing so.
