PRSB welcomes Health Connect as a Partner

PARTNER announcement

We are delighted to welcome our new partner, Health Connect, to the Standards Partnership Scheme.

The Standards Partnership Scheme connects health and social care digital system suppliers with PRSB, to accelerate the adoption of PRSB standards. Partners include more than 65 of the key system suppliers in health and social care and as more suppliers adopt information record standards, consistently high-quality information will flow across the health and care system both for providing care and improving it.

By becoming a partner to PRSB, the recognised UK authority on standards for information records, Health Connect joins a unique community of suppliers working with our member organisations, professional bodies and patient representative groups.

We spoke to Health Connect to find out why standards and interoperability are essential to their work.

Can you tell us a bit about Health Connect?

Health Connect is the first Care Intelligence System, designed with intelligence built into its core and integrated into clinical workflows.  Most legacy EHRs simply record a static snapshot of the past. They’re passive systems not active partners, and because they were never built for AI, they can’t harness modern technologies to their full potential.

We designed Care Intelligence completely differently. It’s AI-powered to provide staff with live situational awareness and support real-time decision-making. It’s built to let care teams focus on patient care, while the compliance evidencing process takes care of itself in the background.

Our system provides care teams with everything they need to efficiently run their operations from:

  • Smart Care Records that includes all integrated modules: Care Planning, Daily Records, Risk Assessment and Management Plans, Incident Reports, Vitals, Physical Assessments, Tasks, Investigations, Legal Status and more.

  • Referral Management

  • Audit Hub that lets them stay on top of their operational and clinical health at all times.

  • Patient Portal: enables families and patients to be involved in their own care

  • Policy Management (coming soon): enables leaders to manage policies and procedures while allowing teams to access and learn from them at the point of care.

This interoperable system enables us to build the AI Compliance Hub, which gives care leaders a real-time readiness report at the click of a button. It scores compliance across every domain and subdomain, then flags actions to take. Care teams can now proactively improve governance, instead of reacting in times of crisis.

What’s really important for Health Connect at this point?

To establish a new category of true solutions that address long-standing challenges like lack of interoperability, compliance admin, and the absence of intelligence integrated into clinical workflows.

We do this by creating an inherently integrated data infrastructure that brings together all operational and clinical modules in one place. This eliminates the need for multiple disconnected systems and the repeated data entry that slows down care teams daily. Cutting through the noise of countless solutions on the market, and being understood clearly by care providers, is hugely important to us.

Why have you chosen to join the Standards Partnership Scheme?

To demonstrate our credibility and commitment to high standards in delivering technology for the care sector. This partnership is more than a stamp of approval, it’s a chance to show how our person-centred care technology is built for frontline staff and patients alike.

How do you hope the scheme will help Health Connect deliver its goals?

The scheme reinforces that we can deliver cutting-edge innovation that transforms patient care—while fully aligning with industry standards for safety and interoperability. Innovation and compliance don’t need to be at odds. In our view, they go hand in hand.

Why are standards and interoperability important for you?

They’re not just important, they’re essential to how we build Health Connect. Everything we do is centred on patients and staff. Our leadership has decades of experience in clinical and care operations, and we know first-hand the risks and inefficiencies caused when systems aren’t interoperable. Our mission is to eliminate those issues entirely.

“To improve care and make it truly person centred, we can’t just digitise old systems. We need to rethink them entirely. Health Connect’s Care Intelligence, built by clinicians and frontline teams is the first system to integrate AI into clinical and operational workflows. It  isn’t just a far better system, it is a better future for healthcare.” Dr Devan Moodley – Health Connect Founder & CEO
