Leapmind joins the PRSB Standards Partnership Scheme this month!
We’re excited to welcome Leapmind as our newest PRSB partner and to collaborate with their team on standards conformance for their iStaffRota platform. We recently spoke with them to learn more about their priorities and what they hope to achieve through our partnership.
Can you tell me about your organisation and what you do?
Leapmind Ltd is a UK-based software company that develops iStaffRota, a cloud-based workforce management and care coordination platform. Our aim is to simplify the complexities of managing care organisations by providing an end-to-end solution that covers scheduling, compliance, electronic care records, medication, and payroll in one system. At the heart of what we do are our core values: reliability, innovation, and person-centred care. We are committed to empowering providers with tools that improve efficiency while safeguarding quality of care.
What’s really important for your organisation at this point in time?
Right now, our focus is on scaling securely and sustainably. That means ensuring our platform continues to meet the needs of providers in a highly regulated sector, while also expanding features that improve efficiency and compliance. We are also committed to building strong partnerships that align with NHS digital transformation goals and interoperability standards.
Why have you chosen to join the Standards Partnership Scheme?
We joined the Standards Partnership Scheme because we see it as an opportunity to embed best practice and national standards into our technology. As care becomes increasingly integrated with the wider health system, it’s critical that our platform aligns with recognised frameworks and supports data sharing safely and consistently.
How do you hope the scheme will help your organisation deliver its goals?
The scheme will help us by providing clear guidance, independent validation, and alignment with national expectations. This not only gives our customers confidence that iStaffRota meets recognised standards, but also ensures that as we grow, our product remains future-proofed and interoperable within the wider health and social care ecosystem.
Why are standards and interoperability important for you?
In health and social care, data quality and safe sharing of information can have a direct impact on people’s lives. Standards and interoperability are essential for ensuring that information flows securely between care providers, healthcare professionals, and regulators. For us, it’s about enabling continuity of care, reducing duplication, and supporting better outcomes for service users.
Looking ahead, are there any PRSB standards for which you intend to be assessed against for conformance?
We are currently looking at the PRSB standards for care planning and digital care records, as these align directly with our current roadmap and the needs of our customers. While these are our priority, we remain open to considering other standards as our product and the wider sector continue to evolve.
“At Leapmind, we believe technology should remove barriers, not create them. By aligning iStaffRota with recognised standards, we’re ensuring our platform not only supports providers today but also helps shape a more connected and sustainable future for health and social care.”
