PRSB calls on incoming government to put people at the heart of health and care
The Professional Record Standards Body (PRSB), dedicated to the development and implementation of standards in health and social care, has responded to the results of the General Election.
Lorraine Foley, CEO at the PRSB, said: “Congratulations to the new prime minister, Sir Keir Starmer, and to the wider Labour party. We look forward to working with the new government on its health and care priorities. Putting people and their families at the heart of decisions about their care is key to a strong NHS and care system. At PRSB, we believe that information standards play an important role in the relationship between people, data, and the health and social care organisations. By using digital record standards in health and care IT systems, vital information can be accessed by the right people, in the right place, at the right time. As Labour has recognised, integrated data and systems put people at the centre of the care they receive, and we look forward to the role we can play in supporting this aim.”
