Non-Executive Director (NED) – Voice for People, Equality and Diversity

The Professional Record Standards Body (PRSB): Non-Executive Director (NED) – Voice for People, Equality and Diversity

We are looking for an NED who has regional or national board level experience to be our voice for people who use health and care services across the UK and to support the PRSB in becoming and remaining an organisation that is demonstrably equal, diverse and inclusive.

Our vision is to optimise the health of UK citizens through the definition and widespread adoption of high quality, standardised records. Our role is to develop national information standards with people who use services, health and care professionals and system suppliers. These standards enable consistent, digital recording and sharing of information across systems in health and social care.

As our voice for people on our Board you would champion their needs in setting our strategy and priorities, you would speak for us at national events and you would represent us in high level meetings at national level. The PRSB is committed to increasing diversity and accessibility of its activities to ensure its standards are informed by a broad range of people who use health and care services. Our intention is that the appointed NED will champion equality and diversity working with the wider Board and the executive team in attaining greater inclusivity of all our work.

On our Board you would work with our other NEDs who bring expertise as health and care professionals, of industry and technology and of finance and business. Our Board is collaborative and all Directors share the corporate responsibilities of the Board to meet the needs of all our stakeholders.

If this could be the role for you, we’d love to hear from you.

Please provide a CV (maximum three sides A4), a letter of application that addresses the requirements of this opportunity and the names of two referees. Please submit this to recruitment@theprsb.org
