Cura Systems joins the PRSB's Standards Partnership Scheme

We are delighted to see that more system suppliers are recognising the importance of information standards in enabling more effective, person-centred care, by joining our Standards Partnership Scheme. Cura Systems, which provides a digital system for services that care for people with complex needs, is the latest organisation to become a PRSB partner.

Cura states that it is strongly committed to developing innovative solutions to benefit everyone involved in the provision of care, which is demonstrated by its monitoring and incident reporting tools. The Cura Systems also provides a detailed incident reporting tool designed to facilitate accurate and timely records of even the most severe incidents in a simple but structured way. Recording this level of structured data means that Cura already has a good start toward adopting PRSB standards and showcasing their best practice through joining our Standards Partnership Scheme. Cura believes that adopting our standards will help assure that its systems are interoperable, which means that they are able to exchange information with other systems and applications seamlessly and efficiently. This will enable care providers to make more informed decisions, ultimately leading to better outcomes for care users.

Our new partner is excited to start their journey towards standards conformance and gaining a well-respected Quality Mark to showcase and evidence their commitment to excellence in driving interoperability and the widespread adoption of standards.

Charmaine Chong, Managing Director at Cura Systems, said: “Joining the PRSB’s Standards Partnership Scheme demonstrates our commitment to supporting care providers in delivering the best possible care with the use of information standards. “

Lorraine Foley, CEO at the PRSB, said: “It is wonderful to see that more system suppliers are realising the important role of information standards in improving interoperability and supporting the delivery of more effective care. Our team is looking forward to working with Cura and helping them achieve their goal of digitising social care and facilitate accurate and timely records for excellent care.”
