Further developing our relationships in Scotland, the PRSB recently visited NHS Grampian, to better understand how the health board is pioneering an integrated approach to health and care information sharing and to promote the use of PRSB standards.

The PRSB presented our work on transfer of care and integrated care standards and our role in supporting implementation including training and inductions for junior doctors. NHS Grampian shared their progress and challenges around integrating information sharing between acute, primary care and all other health and care services in the community.

The dozen participants in the afternoon session, held earlier this month, agreed that England and Scotland could work more closely together to support each other in the digital journey, particularly in terms of sharing best practice
