Join our AGM
We are inviting people to join our AGM, which is going to be held on the morning of 19 September at the Royal College of Nursing in central London.
Featuring stories from patients and clinicians, the event will cover our latest achievements, as well as offer a series of insights into our upcoming goals. We are delighted that NHS CCIO Dr Simon Eccles will be giving our keynote speech. Our vice chair Dr Afzal Chaudhry (Chief Medical Information Officer at the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) will be hosting a session on implementation, sharing the challenges and successes of his organisationâs adoption on the acute discharge summary standard.
Following on from this we will hear more about the impact of the upcoming maternity standard, and the challenges that pregnant women currently face in getting access to their medical notes and appointments. We will also be holding a short âask the panelâ session on the development of local health record exemplars. One of our leading patient representatives Judith Brodie, will be part of the panel, answering audience questions on local exemplars and offering a patientâs perspective.
Weâll also have our CEO Lorraine Foley and chair Professor Maureen Baker to talk about the organisationâs highlights and showcase our latest videos.
