Video: clinicians tell us why we need online maternity records

This month frontline clinicians are here to explain why online maternity records will make such a big difference for women, their babies and the professionals who care for them.

We speak to Karen Selby, PRSB representative from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists; Susanna Lowe, consultant for women and children at Barts Health NHS Trust, and Mary Olusile, midwife at Barts Health NHS Trust, about our new maternity standard. Throughout the video they explain the positive benefits the standard will have for women, and how it will help to support professionals to do their job.

If you’d like to find out more including next steps for implementation visit the standard here.

Last month we also shared the moving story of Catriona Davenport, mother of two, which explains why the standard is so important to mothers. Catch up here if you missed it.
