Suzy graduated as an Occupational Therapist in 2003 and has worked clinically in the areas of mental health, older people, vocational services and visual impairment. In 2008, Suzy set up in independent practice and worked with a number of businesses and third sector organisations in the fields of product development, training and technology. In 2016 Suzy started working for Brunel University London as an Associate lecturer in Occupational Therapy. Suzy is currently studying for a MA in Online and Distance Education where she is exploring the educational opportunities of Web 2.0 technologies. She has a particular interest in digital literacy and how occupational therapists can support the development of digital literacy skills in public health roles. Suzy’s current role is professional advisor in health informatics at the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
