Prof Jonathan Kay

Jonathan is Chair of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics. He is Senior Clinical Adviser to the Royal College of Physicians and a member of the Health Informatics Unit, Honorary Professor of Clinical Informatics at University College London, and a member of the National Information Board. He spent most of his career as a chemical pathologist in Oxford and has also been Clinical Informatics Director at NHS England, Professor of Health Informatics at City University London, Chair of the Information Group of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges and a senior consultant to the Design Authority of the NHS National Programme for IT for England. His research interests include investigations, knowledge management and everyday technology at the point of care.
