Euan McComiskie qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2007. He worked in rotational and static posts in Dundee and Livingston covering a number of clinical areas and specialties. His journey with clinical informatics began in 2012 joining the NHS Lothian Informatics Group. He was appointed AHP Informatics Lead in NHS Lothian in 2013 developing and delivering operational change as well as strategic influencing. In 2015 he was appointed AHP eHealth Advisor at NHS National Services Scotland developing and leading national data programs as well as influencing national policy. He continues as an Honorary AHP eHealth Advisor in Scotland but joined the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy in 2018 as their UK Health Informatics Lead. He works across a number of projects to improve informatics knowledge and skills for physiotherapists as well as driving informatics inclusion in policy and strategy. He is also the Professional Advisor for Northern Ireland
He is a member of the PRSB Advisory Board, Digital AHP Steering Group, and International AHPs Digital and Data Collaboration. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics and co-chair of the AHP Special Interest Group.
