Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland

Carmen is the Digital Health and Care National Lead within the ALLIANCE (Scotland’s third sector intermediary for a range of health and social care organisations).

Having graduated with an MA in Digital Media and Information Studies from the University of Glasgow, Carmen became interested in the health and wellbeing potential of digital technologies and joined the ALLIANCE in 2016. Since then she has worked on several co-production and innovation focused projects, including ‘Our GP’, a project which undertook rapid engagement with over 1000 citizens and professionals to develop ideas for new digital GP services. At the moment, Carmen project manages two national engagement projects, Discover Digital and My World My Health, each aiming to influence digital health and care policy and practice within Scotland.
