PRSB's Standards Partnership Scheme update

Nourish Care, which provides smart management technology for health and social care, has been awarded Quality Partner status for demonstrating conformance with our standard for Digital Care and Support Planning, working towards a more joined-up care system. Some of the vendors who have recently become partners include Cerner, Interneuron, Healthcare Gateway and RIVIAM Digital Care. Surrey & Borders Partnership NHS FT have joined as early adopters to our local organisational offer.

Speaking about the Quality Partner award, Nuno Almeida, CEO Nourish Care, said: “Working to meaningful open standards has potential to positively impact quality and consistency of care, but will also unlock interoperability, opening up more integrated and collaborative models of health and social care. PRSB’s care record and sharing standards will be key to this transformation. PRSB Quality Partner accreditation recognises Nourish’s commitment to this journey and the future of digital as a key aspect of health and social care integration. It gives our extensive community of care providers the confidence to accelerate the appropriate application of the standards in practice – whilst recognising the uniqueness of every care setting.”

RIVIAM Digital Care’s Managing Director, Paul Targett, said of becoming a Partner: “Interoperability has always been at the forefront of RIVIAM’s agenda. By ensuring RIVIAM’s care coordination and collaboration services conform to PRSB’s nationally agreed information standards, we have a robust and solid foundation upon which our services can be configured to meet our customer’s individual needs helping them innovate new models of care, transform and respond to today’s pressures.”

PRSB’s Standards Partnership Scheme is supported by NHS and social care system leaders. All partners benefit from access to standards and guidance, a series of webinars, regular briefings and the opportunity to be involved in and influence our consultations and development of new standards. The two levels of partnership are differentiated by assessment of standards conformance. Becoming a Quality Partner or Partner sends a strong signal to customers and all stakeholders that they are at the forefront of the drive towards conformance to standards and digital information sharing between systems in the NHS and social care.

We look forward to working with our new Partners over the coming months. If you’d like to know more about the scheme, we’d be pleased to talk with you. Contact us now.

Last month, @NHSDigital published a new ISN to support safe transfer of medicines info between settings. The ISN is based on UK Core FHIR Profiles, developed directly from PRSB info standards for meds and allergies. We're proud to have played a role in the ISN's development 👇 https://t.co/nZGbw5MZOd
