Mandy Forrester is a highly experienced midwife with national and international experience in regulation, education, research, management and clinical practice.
Mandy qualified as a nurse at Westminster Hospital, London in 1981 and as a midwife at the Portsmouth School of Midwifery in 1985. She obtained the Advanced Diploma in Midwifery from the Royal College of Midwives in 1988 and qualified as a midwife teacher from Surrey University in 1990. In 2008, she obtained her MA in Midwifery Practice from Thames Valley University.
Mandy is now Maternity Specialist Adviser and Bank Hospital Inspector for the Care Quality Commission. She also provides technical advice to a UK Aid funded project on behalf of the Royal College of Midwives.
