Euan McComiskie qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2007, working clinically for eight years and combining this with informatics since 2012 in NHS Lothian. He was appointed as Allied Health Professionals (AHP) Informatics Lead in 2014 and since then has been part of several projects to digitalise AHP services and optimise the use of the electronic patient record. He was appointed as AHP Advisor in the Information Services Division of NHS National Services Scotland in 2015. Nationally, Euan has supported delivery of the AHP Musculoskeletal Waiting Times (MSK) four week standard and the initiation of a minimum dataset for all AHPs in Scotland.
Euan is passionate about using Informatics to develop clinical practice for AHPs in Scotland and supporting a growing number of clinicians engaged with Informatics via the Nursing Midwifery and AHP (NMAHP) National eHealth Network.
