Around 1.5 million people in the UK have a learning disability. RIX’s platforms enable these individuals to use multimedia such as videos, pictures, sound and words, to share their needs, aspirations, preferences and goals with the key people and health and care professionals in their life.

Our recent case studies about Mike and Cassie show how using ‘About Me’ in the Multi Me Wiki software supported them through hospital appointments which might not have been possible, or could have resulted in adverse outcomes, without understanding key ways to work with them.

Achieving conformance with the standard means that RIX’s customers can be confident that the software presents accurate, up-to-date personal information that promotes better, more informed care decisions.
