Log my Care achieves Quality Partner status with conformance against the PRSB About Me standard

Log my Care has been recognised as a Quality Partner by PRSB. The platform for care management has also achieved conformance against the About Me standard, which is key to helping care staff deliver person-centred care and reflecting people’s needs and wishes.

With an aim of transforming care for some of society’s most vulnerable people, Log my Care provides a digital platform that makes person-centred technology accessible to everyone in social care, making care more efficient and effective.

For people living in a range of care settings, including residential and nursing homes as well as supported living or for those accessing care at home, Log my Care’s implementation of About Me ensures that information such as how the person likes to be communicated with or how they take their medication is accessible at the press of a button.

Standards and interoperability are important to Log my Care’s mission. By implementing the About Me standard, they can enable accurate data sharing between health and social care services, and improve continuity of care.

The government has set an ambitious target for 80% of social care providers to be using digital care records by March of 2024, and Log my Care has taken up the mantle, working closely with providers to demonstrate how beneficial and simple digital solutions can be to both care professionals and the person, and how information standards can help support this transformation.

Speaking on the Quality Partnership status and About Me conformance process, Francesco Recupero, Product Owner at Log my Care, commented: “Becoming a Quality Partner by working on conformance for PRSB’s About Me standard gave us the opportunity to explore how we could add value to our customers’ current processes.

“People are at the heart of care and that informs everything we do. Adopting person-centred standards and becoming conformant helps us enable care providers to deliver truly person-centred care, led by the individual receiving support.”

Lorraine Foley, PRSB’s CEO, said: “I am pleased to congratulate Log my Care on receiving Quality Partner status and achieving conformance against the About Me standard, which is essential in delivering person-centred care. The team has shown a strong dedication and eagerness to learn throughout the conformance process and was great to work with.

“I am looking forward to seeing more social care and other system suppliers taking the same route as Log my Care and working on their conformance against PRSB’s About Me and our other standards.”
