GP Clinical lead
The PRSB is seeking a GP clinical lead for new work to enhance our community pharmacy standards, this includes adding the information sent to the GP to the patient record. A community pharmacist and citizen lead will co-lead this project, to ensure the work is guided by those who will work with and use this information. The work is about the content of information (not the technical messages and transfer mechanisms) and so doesn’t require a skilled informatician, just knowledge of GP workflows and some interest in information with the aim to ensure that useful and relevant information is sent to the GP and added to the patient record to enable more effective and safer care.
We require an active clinician with 0.5 d/w capacity over the 4 month project (Oct to Feb). There is flexibility on the working arrangements, to include a combination of work in your own time, some team meetings for discussion and a couple of consultation webinars. The time is renumerated where required.
