Epro are on a mission to improve clinicians’ access to key healthcare information with information standards

To provide quality and effective care, clinicians need to be able to access the right information quickly to help support their decision-making – and this is something that Epro, a modular digital health platform supporting 13 NHS Trusts and over 44,000 NHS users – is doing today. Their solution provides modular EPR extension capabilities, such as integrated speech recognition, digital dictation, clinical workflows, referral management, clinical letters and RTT (Referral to Treatment).

Designed by clinicians for clinicians, Epro’s software aims to help them work more efficiently and move further up the digital maturity curve. By aligning to PRSB standards, Epro plans to ensure its platform will be seen by NHS leaders as supportive of their staff’s workflow and the NHS’s efficiency targets.

Epro’s team is currently looking to test its conformance to the Core Information Standard, Outpatient Letter Standard, and the eDischarge Summary Standard

Jonathan Elliott, Managing Director at Epro, said: “Epro are delighted to partner with PRSB because we have common values that focus on doing the right thing for the NHS. The Standards Partnership Scheme will be a catalyst to change and ensure adoption of key information standards which are at the heart of our DNA at Epro. We look forward to supporting both clinicians and healthcare practitioners with our intuitive and clinically focussed modular platform to enable quick and easy access to information that enhances the patient journey.”

Lorraine Foley, CEO at the PRSB, added: “Having the right information at your fingertips is a must for clinicians so that they can work to the best of their capabilities. We are glad that Epro recognises the importance of this, and we are pleased to welcome them on board as our partner to support their goals through standards adoption.”
