A great inaugural year for PRSB's Partnership Scheme

2021 saw the introduction of PRSB’s new Standards Partnership Scheme, which recognises the good work of software suppliers that integrate standards into their digital products and supports interoperability as an enabler of integrated care. Throughout the year, PRSB has delivered several Partner-exclusive masterclasses and given insights into the pivotal role of standards in advancing the digital transformation to meet the needs of the health and care system.

We are delighted to say that we now have more than 20 partners onboard, with several currently undergoing assessment to test the conformance of their systems against specific PRSB standards. Three of our partners have already officially demonstrated conformance against one of more of our standards. We recently welcomed VCare Systems and iESE as our newest partners. You can hear some of our partners speak about their experience joining the scheme here.

‘This has been a very exciting year for the launch of our new Standard Partnership Scheme, with our Partners keen to accelerate the use of standards for better care and are working towards achieving the PRSB Quality Partner, which will evidence their commitment to providers. 2022 will be another landmark year for us as we launch an implementation service for health and care providers – moving us closer to our goal of end-to-end implementation’ – Rebecca Hughes, Head of Partner Solutions, PRSB.
