Digital care and support planning survey now live
The Professional Record Standards Body is currently working on the production of a digital care and support planning standard. Following a workshop, we are now conducting a survey for the final stages of the project.
The PRSB is seeking views from patients, carers and other citizens, health and care professionals and industry representatives on the content of a standard for a digital care and support plan. Please click on the online survey to participate. Your views are very important to us and will help ensure that the project's intended outcomes and recommendations are practical and fit for purpose. The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete and will close at 5pm on 8th September 2017.
The Professional Record Standards Body (PRSB) has been commissioned to identify the standards required for a digital care and support plan. The project is being run in conjunction with North West London Collaboration of Clinical Commissioning Groups (NWL CCGs) and NHS Digital. By defining the standards for the structure of care and support plans, we aim to enable these plans to be shared and updated electronically between patients, carers and the health and social care providers who support them. This widespread consultation is invaluable in ensuring that all data items are meaningful, relevant, complete and fit for purpose to record/incorporate into health and care information systems and can be embedded across all nations of the UK.
