Congratulations to our conformant partners!

We have recently seen a surge in conformances against our Personalised Care and Support Plan Standard and the About Me Standard. These conformances will help accelerate the delivery of personalised care and better interoperability.

Have your say on the NHS Health Check

We’re inviting health and care professionals and IT system suppliers to share their views on the information recorded through NHS Health Checks. The survey results will inform the development of an information standard that will ensure that the information collected is recorded and communicated in a standardised format, using recognised clinical coding wherever possible.

How to ensure data from monitoring devices is ‘meaningful’

In our latest column for Digital Health, Charles McCay, PRSB Advisor, explores how using information standards can help ensure that data from monitoring devices supports effective clinical decision-making and a person’s self-management.

What people are saying

A decade of achievement

“This year marks a watershed for PRSB, which celebrates its 10th anniversary – a decade of achievement in driving digital transformation in health and care through the development and adoption of information record standards.

From humble beginnings we have grown to become the authoritative voice on information record standards, representing our members who span the four nations of the United Kingdom, the professions in health and social care, people that speak for hundreds of patient groups, suppliers, health and care providers, and those working at the forefront of digital transformation. Ours is proud track record of accomplishment, and we share the highlights of our 10 years of success here.”

Looking ahead

“PRSB’s focus in the months and years to come is to get standards into widespread use so that professionals, suppliers, and the public see the benefits of using them.

Working with our key stakeholder groups, we will progress conformance with standards and seek to ensure that our state-of-the-art conformance assessment methodology is recognised by procurement frameworks, service contracts and advocacy of the Standards Partnership Scheme. We will continue to explore new ways of addressing our members priorities and ensure that standards are recognised for the pivotal role they play in realising the wider system ambitions around harnessing the use of data and analytics to improve people’s health, deliver innovation through research, identify service needs, and support professionals and people to ensure care is safe, high quality and second to none.”
