Use your experience as a patient and/or service user to improve digital health records

Are you an NHS patient or user of social care with an interest in improving how information and care records are developed and shared in health and care?

The PRSB is seeking two patient/service user representatives to join its Assurance Committee – which is how we provide professional, patient and carer quality assurance for the methods used to develop professional care record standards. The PRSB (Professional Records Standards Board) creates standards for digital health and social care records. Care record standards exist to improve the safety and quality of health and social care. They ensure that the right information is recorded correctly and can be accessed easily, and is available to those who need it where and when they need it. PRSB is UK-wide.

You will have first-hand experience of the health and social care system, and be confident at contributing the patient/service user perspective in a committee environment alongside medical and social care colleagues. You will be able to think strategically in the best interests of all patients, service users and citizens.
