PRSB launches new website

This month we launched our new website to improve how we share information about our growing portfolio of standards for health and care records and our work to support their adoption.

The updated site is easy to navigate, with a new tool that allows people to view the contents of a standard in a user friendly layout. We’ve also included a user guide, to explain more about the tool and how it works in practice. Developing standards for better health and care is a core part of our work, and we want the materials we have produced to be easily accessible for those coming to the site for the first time.

Following an online survey, which was completed by our partners and the public, we designed a fresh, modern website which can adapt and change with PRSB’s business. We have produced a series of videos, and will be releasing more over the coming year to include on our site. Our goal is to raise awareness about the importance of using standards through stories told by patients, citizens, carers and professionals.

Feedback on the website has been positive, with our partners saying it has a clean, modern feel and is easy to use. “I love the browser for the content of the standards – when you click “mandatory” it shows how simple a compliant document can be, helping to overcome the “burden of implementation” misconception,” said Philip Scott, board member and chair of the PRSB’s assurance committee.

Julia Skelton, Director of Operations at the Royal College of Occupational Therapists said “The college welcomes the launch of the PRSB’s new website and encourages members to use the resources available to assist with their record keeping, which is a cornerstone of good practice”

If you have any further comments or queries about the website, we’d be grateful to hear them. Your opinions are very important to us and we want your voices to be reflected. Please email us at info@prsb.org to tell us what you think. You can also contact us on Twitter @ProfRecordSB.
